The 10th BIG little CANADIAN FILM FESTIVAL

Some Highlights

• Hockey Night in Hudson with Ice Breaker which will open the Festival with director Robbie Hart and guests reliving the excitement of the 1972 Summit series between the Soviet Union and Canada.

• So Surreal: Behind the Masks – the storied journey of Indigenous masks and their profound impact on one of the most iconic art movements of all time.

• Bergers (Shepherds) The film that won TIFF’s Best Canadian Film award.

• The Young Werther. Longlisted for the 2024 Jean-Marc Vallée DGC Discovery Award.

• Allen Sunshine a debut feature film from Harley Chamandy and winner of the Werner Herzog Film Award. The young director will be introducing his film.

• La Petite et le Vieux (Blue Sky Jo)winner of the French Language feature film award at the 2024 Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival.

• The Best of Ben’s Screening Room.

• Swan Song A film that profiles National Ballet of Canada artistic director and former dancer Karen Kain as she directs a production of Swan Lake for the company as her final project before retiring. It will be introduced by Karen Kain and will be followed by an on stage Reception with Karen and her Husband, Ross Petty to Celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hudson’s yearly Canadian Film Festival.
